Please read these terms carefully before using the app.

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ReadySet (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ReadySet is an event preparation and checklist management application that allows you to:

  • Create events with D-day countdown and phased checklists
  • Use macro templates for recurring event types
  • Create quick todo lists for one-time tasks
  • Generate AI-powered checklists and receive preparation coaching
  • View events on a calendar
  • Track progress via widgets and Live Activities
  • Receive notification reminders

3. Subscription Plans

ReadySet offers both free and Pro versions:

  • Free Version: Includes all core event and checklist management features
  • Pro Monthly: Auto-renewable monthly subscription unlocking AI features, widgets, and Live Activities
  • Pro Yearly: Auto-renewable yearly subscription at a discounted rate

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

4. AI Features

Pro subscribers have access to AI-powered features:

  • AI-generated event checklists and macro templates
  • AI coaching with contextual preparation tips
  • AI-suggested quick todo items
  • Natural language command processing

AI features are powered by third-party AI services. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may not always be perfect. You should review and verify all AI suggestions before relying on them. We are not responsible for any outcomes resulting from AI-generated recommendations.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not abuse AI features (e.g., excessive automated requests)
  • Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Be responsible for maintaining the security of your device
  • Keep your iCloud account secure for data synchronization

6. Data and Privacy

Your data is stored locally on your device and synchronized via iCloud. We do not collect or store your personal data on our servers. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your data. We recommend keeping iCloud sync enabled to prevent data loss.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by Jinseok Oh and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. We are not responsible for any events, deadlines, or outcomes you may or may not achieve using the App. AI-generated content is provided for reference only.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by canceling your subscription and uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App if you violate these terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
