Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Jinseok Oh (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use ReadySet (the “App”), an event preparation and checklist management application.

Information We Collect

Information You Create

  • Events and checklists you create
  • Macro templates and task items
  • Quick todo lists and items
  • App settings and preferences

Information Processed by AI

  • Event names and checklist titles you submit to AI features
  • Recent completed todo history (used for AI item suggestions)
  • Context about your current events (used for AI coaching)

AI features use Anthropic's Claude API to process your requests. Data sent to the AI is not stored by us or used for training. Please refer to Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on their data handling.

Automatically Collected Information

  • Device information (device type, operating system version)
  • App usage analytics (crash reports, feature usage)
  • App version information

Data Storage

All your event and checklist data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. We do not have servers that store your personal data. Your events, macros, and todos remain on your device and your personal iCloud account.

iCloud sync is available to ensure your data is backed up and synchronized across all your Apple devices. Your iCloud data is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

  • To provide AI-powered suggestions and coaching (Pro feature)
  • To display widgets and Live Activities on your device
  • To improve and optimize the app experience

AI Features

ReadySet Pro includes AI-powered features that process your data through Anthropic's Claude API:

  • AI Macro Generation: Creates event checklists based on your event description
  • AI Coach: Provides preparation tips based on your current event status
  • AI Quick Todo: Suggests checklist items based on the title and your past history
  • AI Command: Parses natural language requests into app actions

Only the minimum necessary data is sent to the AI service. We do not store any data on our servers. AI requests are processed through our secure API proxy with rate limiting for abuse prevention.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

  • Access: View all your data within the app
  • Edit: Modify or update any of your events and checklists
  • Delete: Delete individual items or all data from Settings
  • Export: Your data is stored in your iCloud account and can be managed there

Data Deletion

To delete all your data, you can use the “Reset All Data” option in the app's Settings, or uninstall the app, which will remove all locally stored data. To delete iCloud data, go to your device's Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage > ReadySet.

Children's Privacy

Our App is suitable for users of all ages (4+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. All data is stored locally on the device and in the user's personal iCloud account.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
