Please read these terms carefully before using the app.

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Revv ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Revv is an AI-powered study optimization application that allows you to:

  • Upload PDFs and generate AI-powered flashcard questions automatically
  • Review flashcards with FSRS v5 spaced repetition scheduling
  • Track study performance with personalized analytics and insights
  • Create and manage custom flashcard decks
  • Receive AI-optimized study session recommendations

3. Account and Authentication

Revv supports Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In. By signing in, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You may also use the app in offline/local mode without creating an account. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

4. Subscription and Payments

Revv offers both free and Pro subscription tiers:

  • Free: Limited PDF question generation per month, core flashcard and review features
  • Pro (Monthly/Yearly): Unlimited PDF generation, advanced analytics, FSRS parameter optimization, and session debriefs

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Even if you cancel your subscription, your existing cards, study records, and analytics data will be preserved.

5. AI-Powered Features

Revv uses artificial intelligence to generate study questions and provide insights. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated questions are based on the text you provide and may not always be perfectly accurate
  • Generated questions undergo automated verification, but you should review them before study
  • Performance predictions and study recommendations are estimates, not guarantees
  • PDF text is processed by third-party AI services (Anthropic) but is not stored after generation

6. User Content and PDF Uploads

You are responsible for the content you upload:

  • You must have the right to use any PDF content you upload for question generation
  • Do not upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
  • We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content or generated flashcards
  • You retain all rights to your study data and created cards

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not abuse the AI generation features or attempt to circumvent usage limits
  • Not use the App for any unlawful purpose

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, AI prompts, and content, is owned by Jinseok Oh and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. AI-generated questions should be verified by the user and are not a substitute for professional educational materials.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by requesting account deletion and uninstalling the App. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App if you violate these terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
