Please read these terms carefully before using the app.

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Retire Calc ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Retire Calc is a retirement planning calculator application that allows you to:

  • Set retirement goals with target age and asset amounts
  • Calculate required monthly savings based on your financial situation
  • Track your asset growth and savings progress over time
  • Run simulations with different financial scenarios
  • View projected asset trends and goal achievement rates
  • Export retirement plan reports
  • Sync data across devices using iCloud (optional)

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Be responsible for maintaining the security of your device
  • Keep your iCloud account secure if using sync features

4. Financial Disclaimer

The calculations and projections provided by the App are for informational and planning purposes only:

  • The App does not provide professional financial, investment, or tax advice
  • Projections are based on assumptions and are not guaranteed outcomes
  • Actual investment returns may differ significantly from estimated returns
  • You should consult a qualified financial advisor for personalized advice
  • We are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on the App's calculations

5. Subscription and Purchases

The App offers premium features through in-app subscriptions:

  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings under Subscriptions
  • Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy

6. Data and Privacy

Your data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect or store your financial or retirement plan data on our servers. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for backing up your data. We recommend enabling iCloud sync to prevent data loss.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by Jinseok Oh and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. We are not responsible for any financial outcomes, investment decisions, or retirement plans you may create or follow using the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App if you violate these terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
